UP Polls: Winning margins range from one lac to 171
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Assembly Polls concluded with the Bharatiya Janata Party emerging out as the stellar performer, while the state ruling Samajwadi Party, in alliance with the Congress, and the Bahujan Samaj Party faced a crushing defeat. It was a clean sweep by the BJP in few constituencies, while few others observed a nail biting fight between the candidates.
BJP candidate Sunil Kumar Sharma from the Sahibabad constituency registered a massive win with a margin of 1,50,685 votes, the highest in the UP Assembly Polls 2017. Raghvendra Pratap Singh from BJP, however, won by just 171 votes after getting a tough fight from the Bahujan Samaj Party's Saiyada Khatoon, making it the lowest winning margin for the just concluded state polls.
A total of 67227 votes went in favour of Singh, while Khatoon was close enough to get 67056 votes.

Rajnath Singh's son PANKAJ SINGH (Noida) from Bharatiya Janata Party won by 104016 votes
RAGHURAJ PRATAP SINGH (Kunda) independent candidate won by 103647 votes
SHRIKANT SHARMA (Mathura) from Bharatiya Janata Party won by 101161 votes
Candidates winning by low margins:
AVTAR SINGH BHADANA (Meerapur) from Bharatiya Janata Party won by 193 votes
SHYAM SUNDER SHARMA (Mant) from Bahujan Samaj Party won by 432 votes
RAM FERAN (Shrawasti) from Bharatiya Janata Party won by 445 votes
AMBRISH SINGH PUSHKAR (Mohanlalganj) from Samajwadi Party won by 530 votes
