UP Lockdown till Monday: What remains open, what will close
As the cases of corona continue to increase in Uttar Pradesh. Keeping in mind the growing infection of the epidemic, the state government has decided to impose lockdown.
Lucknow: As the cases of corona continue to increase in Uttar Pradesh. Keeping in mind the growing infection of the epidemic, the state government has decided to impose lockdown. The Yogi government of the state has banned all other functions except essential services across the state for 55 hours i.e. 10 July at 10 AM and 13 July at 5 AM. Orders related to this have been issued by Chief Secretary RK Tiwari.
Only essential services will be open in Lockdown:
All the essential services such as medical and essential supplies will remain open like before during the 55 hours of lockdown. There will be no restriction on the movement of persons working in these services, corona warriors, sanitation workers and people connected to door to door supplies.
Railway movement in UP will continue:
Also, the railway movement in UP will continue as before. The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation will arrange buses for people coming by trains. All international and domestic air services will continue unchanged. There is no restriction on traffic for passengers arriving at airports.
For goods vehicles, there will be no restriction on their movement. Transport on national and state routes will also continue. Petrol pumps and dhabas located along their banks will remain open as before.
Roadways Bus services restricted:
In this order issued for the state, during this period, all offices, all urban and rural hot markets, Galla Mandi and all business establishments will remain closed. Roadways bus service will be restricted inside the state.
Only the identity card of officers and employees associated with the essential services. ID card will be considered as a duty pass. There will be no restriction on them.
