Lucknow: CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Population Stability Fortnight at his government residence on Saturday. On this occasion, he also inaugurated newly divisional laboratories for testing covid-19.

CM Yogi Adityanath addressed the gathering after launching the program on World Population Day. On this occasion, he said that in today's era we are facing a lot of challenge. Communicable diseases are also likely to increase during the rainy season along with covid-19 infection.

Lockdown for 3 days:

CM Yogi said, 'Along with curbing the propagation of covid-19 infection, we now have to stop the rain-borne communicable disease. Due to covid-19, we have taken a three-day lockdown in the state. For this also, we took the time of July 11 and 12, in which there is a holiday on Second Saturday and Sunday.'

1,820 New Born Care Corner: Yogi

There are 250 advanced life support ambulances for serious patients in the state. In which more than 2 lakh 1 thousand patients have been benefited by May 2020: Chief Minister Shri Yogi

To control infant mortality in the state, 1,820 New Born Care Corner, 180 New Born Stabilization Unit, we established 82 Sick New Born Unit in the state.

Recently, several programs have been started in the state so that infant and maternal mortality can be controlled. With this view, Central and State Government conducted many programs.

When the first case of COVID19 reported in Uttar Pradesh there was no testing lab in the state. But till yesterday labs tested 38,000 samples. Uttar Pradesh has enhanced its capability for testing: UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath
