University of Lucknow reaches rural areas to spread awareness about education
The university has started a special campaign to spread awareness about various schemes of the government along with education in rural areas of the state.
With the inspiration of the Hon'ble Chancellor of University of Lucknow, Her Excellency Smt. Anandiben Patel, and under the leadership of Professor Alok Kumar Rai, the Vice Chancellor of the University, in the last two years, University of Lucknow has put forth many examples of its devotion to the people and society of Uttar Pradesh.
In this context, this year, under the aegis of Prof. Alok Kumar Rai, the university has started a special campaign to spread awareness about various schemes of the government along with education in rural areas of the state. In this campaign, the chief objectives are to devise the best possible way to connect the results of various researches being done in the university with the people at the grassroots level, and to ensure that the society in general is the recipient of the best and maximum outcomes of the various studies. of the research being done in the universities, etc. Teachers of the University have already started work in this direction and visited the rural area in Tandor Kheda district Hardoi, and tried to evaluate the benefits of schemes being run by the government, and the status of their implementation.
After talking to the teachers who went on this tour, it was found that people residing in the rural area are getting the benefits of various schemes like cylinders, grains etc. started by the government and the arrangement of toilets in the village is also very convenient. In this village, the team of teachers of the university also identified such people who are not getting the full benefits of these schemes and arrangements have been started for them to get the benefits of the schemes.
In this context, very soon the university is going to undertake training in the operation and maintenance of equipments like solar water pumps in the context of the important Kusum scheme of the government in rural areas.
