Lucknow: The Government of India is not leaving any stone unturned to evacuate the Indians stranded in Saudi Arabia and a helpline number — 8005140000– has also been given in this regard.

The newztrack.com in its investigation found that maximum number of people stranded in the Arabic nation belonged to Bahraich, Gonda, Meerut and Muzaffarnagar districts in Uttar Pradesh.

In a telephonic conversation with Mohammad Wali Abbas, the person who received the call on the given helpline, confirmed the report and said he had received 190 calls so far, out of which maximum were from Meerut and Muzaffarnagar.

It may be mentioned that Union Minister of State for External Affairs, General (Retd) V K Singh arrived in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday last to evacuate the unemployed stranded Indians.
