Shivpal Yadav blames BJP behind stone throwing attack

Lucknow: Accusing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the stone throwing incident, the Samajwadi Party senior leader Shivpal Singh Yadav on Sunday held the BJP candidate from Jaswantnagar responsible for the attack.

"It was a BJP conspired attack. Its party candidate from Jaswantnagar constituency was behind this stone throwing incident," said Shivpal Yadav.

He said police force, with no reason, charged batons at public.

"Women and children faced injuries by the unexpected lathi charge from police, which came despite peaceful poll proceedings in Jaswantnagar. The district administration should have taken note of the same," said Shivpal.

It could be mentioned here that Shivpal has been elected four times from this very constituency.

Earlier in the day, stones were thrown at senior Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Yadav’s cavalcade at his home constituency Jaswantnagar during the third phase polling of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Polls on Sunday.
