Shahjahanpur: After Muzaffarnagar, another train tragedy in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday took a life and seriously injured one other person. A truck collided with Bapudham Express, enrouted to Motihari from Anand Vihar, at Padra Sikandarpur railway crossing in Shahjahanpur district of the state.

The truck driver has been killed while the cleaner of the train is seriously injured and has been taken to the district hospital.

Police force and Railway Protection Force (RPF) teams have been deployed to the site.

According to the eye-witnesses the truck crossed the Unmanned railway gate while the train was in speed. The witnesses stated that the train would have derailed but fortunately it did not happen.
