New Delhi: The Supreme Court of India on Friday ruled that the Delhi-Noida Direct ( DND ) flyway would remain toll free. The SC put stay to Allahabad High Court's order, making the 9.2 kilometres, eight-lane DND flyway toll free.

The decision was taken by a bench of Justices JS Khehar and L Nageswara Rao. The panel has also asked the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) to verify the cost of the DND flyway project and submit a report as soon as possible.

The bench stated, "We have requested the CAG to verify the cost of the project..." It said further, "We refuse to grant any relief.
