UP govt removes Rama Raman from post of Noida authority CEO

Lucknow: Following the Allahabad High Court’s order, the Uttar Pradesh government has removed senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Officer Rama Raman from the post of Noida authority’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on Thursday.

Moreover, Raman has been put in the waiting list by the government and is likely to be placed in one of Lucknow’s important departments in the next few days.

It may be mentioned that Raman was first appointed as CEO of Greater Noida authority in 2010. The officer was given the additional charge of the Noida authority CEO on January 16, 2016. In 2013, he replaced Sanjiv Saran as Noida CEO. Later, he was appointed as the chairman of Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway authorities in May 2013.
