Railway guard shot at by miscreants inside train in Shahjahanpur

Shahjahanpur: In a sensational incident, a Railway guard was shot at by miscreants inside the Moradabad-bound train at the Roza junction.

The incident took place in front of police station where cops kept mum when goods train guard Ajit Kumar Gupta and four miscreants indulged in an ugly scuffle. The miscreants tried to take Ajit out of the train and when failed in such attempt, they opened fire at him.

Injured guard was rushed to the district hospital.

"We have located the assistants and the investigation is on," said GRP SO Satyapal SIngh.
