Lucknow: Opposition parties attack on government against petrol and diesel price hike. After the protest of Congress on Thursday, now on Friday, Samajwadi Party's workers performed in front of the Vidhan Sabha. On which the police lathi-charged. Apart from this, Aam Aadmi Party workers demonstrated in front of Swasthya Bhavan with plates and utensils.

Samajwadi Party Youth members protest:

On Friday, activists led by state president Aneesh Raja tried to protest against the increased prices of petrol and diesel in front of the assembly. In an attempt to go before the assembly, there was a ruckus between the police and youth activists of Samajwadi Party. On this, the youth brigade workers sat on the dharna protesting the increased prices of petrol and diesel and started shouting anti-government slogans.

AAP members also protested:

The Aam Aadmi Party workers protested against the increase in petrol and diesel price by beating plates and utensils in front of Swasthya Bhavan. Aam Aadmi Party workers gathered in front of the Swasthya Bhawan Building also raised slogans opposing the government. During this time, AAP also had placards in the hands.

The prices of petrol and diesel have been steadily increasing since the last 19 days. This was the first time that the price of diesel was more than petrol. For the first time in the country, the price of a liter of diesel has been more than Rs 80. In these 19 days, the price of diesel has increased by 10 rupees 62 paise. While the price of petrol has increased by 8 rupees 66 paise during this period.
