Lucknow: Renewing the criticism of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Monday described Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Lucknow rally as a flop show. She said PM Modi’s speech on the second day of new year had nothing new.

“PM Modi disappointed the people of Uttar Pradesh,” said Mayawati.

“Both in terms of speech and crowd; the Modi rally at Lucknow was a flop show. The crowd mainly consisted of die hard party workers or hired people,” added Mayawati.

Attacking PM Modi over demonetisation, Mayawati said even after 50 days since note ban nothing has changed. She said that hollow claims of the saffron party over demonetisation left common people in dismay.

What else Mayawati said?

  • People were expecting PM Modi will relieve common man’s distress but they yet again left disappointed with the increase of petrol and diesel prices.
  • BJP should hand over its account details it made since November 8.
  • People of Uttar Pradesh would never accept that PM Modi belongs to their state.
