Opposition targets Yogi Govt on Kanpur encounter shootout

Lucknow: 8 policemen martyred in encounter with miscreants in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The miscreants attacked the police who went to capture the miscreants. In this encounter 7 other policemen were also injured. The opposition party started targeting Yogi government on this matter.

Opposition party attacks on Yogi Govt:

Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav targeted UP Govt of Yogi. He has paid tribute to the martyred policemen. Akhilesh tweeted, 'Tribute to the martyrdom of 8 policemen in the tragic incident in Kanpur! Duty policemen have suffered the brunt of the connivance of 'officials and criminals' in this most shameful incident in UP's criminal world. The present power must be busted by holding criminals alive.'

Rahul Gandhi tweeted on Kanpur encounter:

The former UP chief minister said 'The BJP government of UP is pretending to show petty encounters by not catching the main culprit in a hurry for fear of opening its pole. This will decrease the confidence of the policemen. This incident will also increase the resentment of the police. The government should immediately declare compensation and give every possible protection to the family. Sad!'

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has targeted the Yogi government. Rahul tweeted on Friday morning that there is another proof of Gundaraj in UP. If the police is not safe, how will the public be? My heartfelt condolences are with the families of the slain martyrs and I wish the injured a speedy recovery.

Congress leader and head of Uttar Pradesh Priyanka Gandhi Vadra targeted the Yogi government. Priyanka said 'The miscreants fired indiscriminately on the police who went to catch the miscreants. In which 8 soldiers including CO, SO of UP police martyred. My condolences to the families of these martyrs of UP Police.'
