Now UP Muslims also appeal for Ram Mandir construction in Ayodhya

Lucknow: Hindus of Uttar Pradesh have been appealing for the construction of Ram Mandir at the Ram Janmbhoomi in Ayodhya since long, but it is apparently for the first time when Muslim community of the state has come forward to demand the same, saying it will help in establishing communal harmony between the two religions.

A hoarding, installed at the Hazratganj region of the state capital, state 'ho janmbhoomi par mandir nirman, Muslimo ka hai yahi arman'.

The hoarding possesses a replication of the Ram temple and the photos of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah.

The other photographs imprinted on the hoarding are of the appealers who include BJP's state working committee member Kunwar Iqbal Haider, Hussain Raza Naqvi (Lucknow), Mohd. Ayub Ahmad (Utraula), Mohd Zafrul Hasan (Jalalpuri), Raza Ali Khan Nawab (Jansath) and Mohd Ahsaan Shabih Ahsan Qazmi.

One of the appealers, Hussain Raza Naqvi says, "The Ram Mandir construction is not a political matter, but has been made so by the politicians, who try to gain electoral benefits."

"The matter cannot be solved by the Supreme Court and the politicians, who say that they will accept the decision of the apex court, actually never want the issue to be resolved," he added.

"We want to live with unity and work in the same direction of developing the country," he concluded.
