Lucknow: On 12 January 2022, on the occasion of National Youth Day (Swami Vivekananda Jayanti), a news conference was held at Hotel the Regnant in Lucknow to discuss the need to end plots against the saints who protect Indian culture.

During this press conference, the founder and national president of Hindu Rashtra Sena, "Shri Dhananjay Desai," who spoke passionately about Indian Sanatan culture and Hindutva, stated that Hindu saints are constantly attacked. I am undeniably religious. Respecting the saints, worshipping their feet, and preserving the saint tradition are all virtuous acts. My clan has purview over Sanatan Dharma. I can't call myself a Hindu unless I respect the sages of Sanatan Dharma.

Swami Vivekananda Jayanti:

He added, 'The great men of that Sanatan Dharma are being insulted and treated unfairly. They are being falsely accused of crimes such as rape. Dhananjay Desai ji compared the Indian Sanatan Dharma defence system to Sant Asharamji Bapu. Slandering the character of Yogi great men like Asharam Bapu has not gotten Asharam ji Bapu into trouble, but it has put Indian culture, Indian way of life, and Sanatan Dharma in jeopardy. Conspirators and converts are attempting to assassinate the character of great men such as Asharam Bapu ji in order to cast doubt on Hindus' understanding of their culture.'

At the end of the interview, Shri Dhananjay Desai ji exclaimed, "I tell all Indians that Asharam ji Bapu has been bearing all of this for 8 to 9 years." Get up right now. We apologise at the feet of Asharam ji Bapu, who awakened India with full glory that he has to suffer so much. I've never met Asharam ji Bapu, and I've never taken initiation from him. This is our incapacity, our failure. The defence system of our clan's religion, the security of the nation, is inside the jail, not Bapu ji. It is our clan's responsibility to set them free. The fight of Asharam Bapu is not Bapu's. It is our collective responsibility to get them out of jail.

Shri Awadhesh Gupta, National Vice President of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (cow protection department), and BJP MLA Shri Suresh Chandra Tiwari, who attended the press conference as the chief guest, supported Shri Dhananjay Desai's words and stated that the country's saints and goddesses are defamed and insulted, and now it had became long tradition in our Country. Sant Asharam Bapu ji has performed numerous divine works for the society's character development, social upliftment, and cow protection. Despite the fact that he is 87 years old and in poor health, he is not granted bail or parole. Great men like Asharam ji Bapu are desperately needed in society. Sant Asharam Ji Bapu should be released from prison as soon as possible.

Shri Umesh Ahuja ji, President of Shri Yog Vedanta Seva Samiti, along with all his office bearers were present in this program.
