Meerut: BSP supremo Mayawati launched her Uttar Pradesh assembly Election 2017 campaign on Wednesday by appealing to the muslims to vote for her listing out several undoings of Samajwadi Party government in the state.

The SP would go down in the history as the government which patronised crime and criminals blatantly. '' Why muslims should vote for the SP when it did nothing for the minority when given the chance,'' she pointed out adding '' the feud between the father and son has already taken heavy toll of the developmental activities while minority community, in particular, has been left high and dry.''

Sharpening her attack on SP, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress, the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister said scores of Uttar Pradesh people migrated from the state under the regime of these parties.

"People remained dissatisfied during the reign of SP, BJP and Congress owing to which several preferred to migrate to other states in order to carry out their livelihood," said Mayawati addressing an election rally here.

Taking on the manifestos of opposite political parties, BSP supremo assured that her party will provide financial aid to the people in need instead of giving laptops and mobile phones.

Attacking SP, Mayawati said, unlike SP, she will provide good quality food in schools. "Under Akhiesh Yadav government, schools were provided low standard food. BSP will make a change in the process by providing chana, cakes and eggs," said Mayawati.
