Balian suggests HRD minister to change structure of JNU
Meerut/Muzaffarnagar: Union Minister Sanjiv Balian has suggested HRD minister Smiriti Irani to change the basic structure of Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU) as it had become victim of dirty politics.
Balian, a vocal Bharatiya Janata Party leader, said that the recent anti-national rants in the premises had lowered the dignity of JNU and it needed complete overhaul. ''It is for everyone to see that how a premier education centre is being deteriorated day by day,''he added.
The Union Minister, a BJP MP from Muzaffarnagar, said the dominance of leftists had converted JNU campus into a political 'adda' which required immediate attention. He demanded action against those who were found guilty in JNU row
