Man dies while working on treadmill at gym in Ghaziabad
In a tragic incident, a young man died after suffering a heart attack while doing exercise on a treadmill at a gym in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad town. The entire incident, which reportedly took place on Saturday and was captured on a CCTV camera that was installed inside the gym at Saraswati Vihar.
The deceased, identified as Siddharth Kumar Singh, a native of Bihar, was a regular at the gym daily for his work-out routine.
A video clip which went viral on the social media platforms showed a young man running on a treadmill and then suddenly losing consciousness and collapsing on the machine. The video also showed many people who were present there rushing to check on him and trying to revive him.
This is yet another case where a person has collapsed suddenly. A few months ago, one man died while waiting at the office of a property dealer, and another one collapsed during the dance at a wedding.
According to the reports, Singh was rushed to a hospital nearby, but unfortunately, his life could not be saved. He was a first-year student at a college in Noida and the only child. He lived with his father in Noida, his mother is a teacher in a government school in Bihar. The gym has been closed since the incident.
In the past also several similar incidents had taken place. There have been reports of people suddenly collapsing and in some cases, dying due to heart attacks.
Last month, a 35-year-old man, who had gone to a mall in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri to watch a movie, died after he suffered a heart attack. He had gone to the Fun Mall to watch the recently released movie ‘Gadar 2.’ A shocking video of the incident had gone viral on social media.
In May, a 15-year-old boy died of a heart attack while playing with friends in school in Greater Noida. Earlier, a person collapsed and died due to a cardiac arrest while dancing at a wedding.
