Mahant Nitiya Gopaldasji, who is the head of the Ram Mandir trust, tested positive for Covid, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath confirmed.

Head of the Ram Mandir trust Mahant Nrtiya Gopaldas, who was on stage with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya last week, has tested positive for COVID-19. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath confirmed. The chief minister spoke to the Mathura district magistrate and his followers and requested for immediate medical attention in this regard.

Adityanath, UP Governor Anandiben Patel and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has also shared the stage with Modi and Gopaldas at the August 5 event.

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust:

The corona report of Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, President of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, has came positive. He told difficulty in breathing, after which his corona test was done.

Nrtiya Gopal Das is currently in Mathura. The CMO of Agra and all the doctors have reached for treatment.

CM Yogi Adityanath has talked to the DM of Mathura regarding the treatment of Mahant Nitiya Gopal Das. He also talked to Naresh Trehan, a doctor at Medanta Hospital and instructed to provide necessary medical facilities to Nitiya Gopal Das.

It is known that Nitiya Gopal Das had gone to Mathura to attend the Sri Krishna birth anniversary. After the birth anniversary, he was staying at the Ram temple at State Bank.
