Deoria: In a surprise to his family members, some luxury products were put up at the slain BSF soldier Prem Sagar's house during Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's visit, but they were in a state of shock when all these were dismantled the moment CM left.

Sagar's family has alleged that the local administration took away the AC, Sofa and carpet minutes after Adityanath left their house in Tikampar village of UP’s Deoria district.

Prem Sagar, 45, was one of the two soldiers killed, and their bodies mutilated, in an attack by Pakistan’s Border Action Team on May 1.

Brother of the martyred soldier, Daya Shankar, who also is in BSF, said that local administration's act was an insult to the family.

The Chief Minister, however, has extended financial help to the kins of family and also promised a job to one member. The UP government has also announced the construction of a memorial and a girls inter college in the village in the memory of the martyr.

The CM also promised that soon a road will be built, connecting the village to the main road.
