Youths are the power house of nation, says Kailash Satyarthi

Lucknow: Noble Laureate Kailash Satyarthi, on Wednesday, attended the concluding ceremony of the Youth Conclave organized at Hotel Reniassance in Lucknow. Calling youths the power house of the nation, the social activist imparted them the 4Ps formula comprising of planet, people, peace and prosperity.

• The time has come when youths of the country must unite
• I need support of the youths for supplanting tears of 10 crore poor children into smiles

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav also addressed the youths during the concluding ceremony of the two days Youths Conclave.

Akhilesh Yadav recalls his first meeting with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam:

• I met Abdul Kalam for the first time in Orissa, when my father and SP Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav was country’s defence minister
• He started visiting Lucknow more often after being impressed with Samajwadi Party’s cycle track initiative
• He was very optimistic towards renewable energy
• Akhilesh Yadav released the book of Srijan Pal Singh who was a close aide of Abdul Kalam
