Verdict on Ramjanmbhoomi terror attack to come on March 29

Allahabad: The special court will pronounce judgement on March 29 in the case of the terrorist attack on makeshift Ram temple at Ayodhya in Faizabad district of Uttar Pradesh.

Additional district government counsel here said that the verdict was reserved after arguments in the court had been concluded. The special judge A K Gupta will give the verdict on March 29.

The case:

• Five armed terrorist attacked the makeshift temple on July 5, 2005.
• They were gunned down by the security forces. • Five people were later arrested for conspiring the attacks.
• The hearing of the case shifted from Faizabad to Allahabad.
• The hearings in this case were held at Naini jail due to security issues.
