Uttar Pradesh governor Ram Naik discharged from SGPGI
Lucknow: The Governor Ram Naik, who was admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) on Sunday night following complaints of restlessness, was discharged on Monday.
- Professor Rakesh Kapoor, Director of SGPGI said that Ram Naik was suffering from hypoglycemia, a condition in which blood sugar gets below normal. He was kept under observation for 48 hours.
- On Monday, Ram Naik was discharged around noon after the routine check-up from the hospital.
- Naik is a mild diabetic patient and he takes antidiabetic drugs regularly.
- On Sunday, due to his busy schedule Ram Naik skipped proper meal after taking medicines, as a result his sugar level moved down to 35 mg/dl against the normal level of 70 to 120 mg/dl.
