UP CM Akhilesh Yadav renames Juvenile Justice Fund

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister on Friday has announced that the Juvenile Justice Fund, established in the past, now will be known as 'Samajwadi Human Trafficking Prevention Fund'.

The step has been taken to prevent and raise awareness about human trafficking.

Akhilesh Yadav’s other major announcements:

• Children freed from trap of human traffickers will be given free and adequate education.
• Schools for them will be established in Bundelkhand region and Maharajganj district.
• He directed Women’s Welfare Department and Secondary Education Department to take necessary actions.
