UP BJP prez Keshav Prasad Maurya receives warm welcome 

Lucknow: Keshav Prasad Maurya, the newly elected Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president of Uttar Pradesh unit was accorded a warm welcome by party workers at party headquarters in Lucknow on Monday.

• He reached Lucknow’s Charbagh railway station from Delhi through Shatabdi express.
• He was greeted with bouquet and flowers by party workers at Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Tundla, Etawah and Kanpur station.
• Earlier, he received a warm welcome by party workers at Charbagh railway station
• Maurya garlanded all the idols of renowned personalities on his way to party’s state headquarters, said BJP spokesperson Vijay Bahadur Pathak.
• UP BJP in charge Om Mathur, former UP BJP chief Surya Pratap Sahi, national general secretary Dr Dinesh Sharma, union ministers Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti and Santosh Gangwar.

The former UP BJP president Laxmi Kant Bajpayi reached the station to welcome Maurya but he left the railway station even before he could step out of the railway station.
