IG CRPF Subhash Chandra removed from force coordinator post

Lucknow: Inspector general of CRPF Subhash Chandra has been removed from the post of force coordinator by the Election Commission, on Saturday. Chandra is the husband of IAS officer Anita Singh and was posted in the capital city of Uttar Pradesh.

It could be mentioned that the Bharatiya Janata Party had complained against him to the election commission. The BJP has alleged that being husband of Akhilesh Yadav's Principal Secretary , he was misusing his post to favour the Samajwadi Party in winning the state assembly elections.

It is worth mentioning that a 1990 batch IAS officer, Anita Singh was appointed the Principal Secretary to Akhilesh Yadav in 2012. Singh is a Mulayam-loyalist.
