Seven killed, nine injured  in a road accident in Lucknow 

Lucknow: Seven persons were killed and nine other injured in head-on collision of two cars in Telibagh area under PGI police station of Lucknow late last night. The deceased included four males, two females and a child, the senior superintendent of police (SSP) Rajesh Pandey said.

The two families were returning after attending marriage and Tilak functions respectively when Honda Amaze car and Maruti Van they were travelling collided.

Injured were rushed to Trauma Centre where condition of some was stated to be serious, he added. The bodies were sent for postmortem.

The deceased had been identified, SSP said.
