Robbers trespass mentha-trader's house, rob Rs 50 lacs
Barabanki: In yet another broad daylight robbery , four unidentified miscreants barged into a trader's house in Fatehpur Kotwali area in Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh on saturday and looted jewellery, cash and other valuables worth Rs 50 lacs on gun-point. The criminals came on two numberless bikes and decamped with the booty.
Highlights:-
- Sachin Jain along with all male members of the family was on his shop.
- In the meantime, four men on numberless bikes drove to his house and committed the loot.
- The female members, present in the house, were beaten up and physically harassed by the robbers.
- The Superintendent of police (SP), Abdul Hameed said that an FIR had been filed by the trader.
- Hameed claimed the police would soon nab the criminals.
