Peace Party chief Dr Ayub booked for sexual assault

Lucknow: Finally after a long battle with the administration, a case was registered against Peace Party chief Dr. Ayub Khan on Saturday for sexual assault and giving wrong medication to a girl, who died in a city hospital yesterday.

CO Aliganj Dr Meenakshi investigated the case after visiting the Trauma Centre. She has recovered documents regarding the victim girl.

The matter:

A Santkabirnagar family had alleged Dr Ayub of sexually assaulting their daughter. Father of the victim had said that he sexually assaulted his daughter on a continuous note.

"Dr Ayub gave wrong medication to my daughter following which here kidney got damaged. For last eight months, she was bleeding badly," said victim's father.

"We admitted her to city's Trauma centre where she died during the treatment," he added.

A five-doctor panel carried out the post-mortem of the victim under the surveillance of cameras.

Dr Ayub, however, termed the same as Samajwadi Party's conspiracy against him. He said every allegation against him is false.

A case was registered under sections 376 (2) (f), 506 and 304.

It could be mentioned here that son of Dr. Ayub, Irfan is contesting election for the Peace Party from Menhdawal seat . Sant Kabir Nagar will go for polling in the fifth phase on February 27.
