Mulayam Singh Yadav decides not to celebrate his 78th Birthday

Lucknow: Samajwadi Party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has decided not to celebrate his 78th birthday on November 22. To express grief over the deaths in Kanpur derailment tragedy. According to sources close to the leaders, all functions related to the celebration of his birthday have been cancelled. The SP Chief himself has urged party workers not to organise any event or functions for celebrating the day. "I want all of you to condole the death of Indore-Patna train accidents victims instead of celebrating my birthday", said Mulayam Singh Yadav.

It may be recalled that more than 130 people have died when at least 14 coaches of Indore-Patna Express were derailed in Pukhraya, 100 kms away from Kanpur on Sunday last. Out of 14 coaches, two coaches S1 and S2 were badly trapped in the debris and the maximum causalities were reported from S2 coach.
