Lucknow Metro all set to re-run with safety measures from Sep 7

Lucknow: Metro service is going to start in the capital Lucknow in Unlock-4 amid Corona pandemic. In such a situation, the doors of the metro will open for Lucknow people from September 7.

However, Lucknow Metro will start running on the tracks from 7 am to 10 pm from 4 September. This will be done so that after the functioning of the metro and the corona, the standards of New Normal can be tested.

Metro trial in Lucknow:

Metro services that have been closed for six months are going to start again. For this, a metro train was trialled in Lucknow today. Metro services in the capital Lucknow will start from 7 September. Lucknow has 20 metro trains. Of which 16 will be tried.

So that passengers do not face any kind of problem. For this, all the employees were called today and they were asked to come from September 7 to do their duty.

Technical Examination done under supervision:

Metro operations in Lucknow have been closed since 24 March. Recently, arrangements have been made to start metro services under Unlock Four. Today, the train was run after technical examination of the train under the supervision of high officials in Lucknow.

So that passengers do not face any kind of problem. For this, all employees were called today and they were asked to come from September 7 to do their duty. During the trial run, the communication-based control system of the metro, track, signal, over head electric wire and control were checked for harmony.

Metro Diwas on 5th September:

Corona's guideline will be strictly followed when trains start operating. For this, training of security guards has also been completed. Metro Day is celebrated on 5 September. Hence, trial of metro trains has started from today.

During the trial, the functioning of about 20 metro trains and new standards after Corona were tested. The stations will be sanitized three times and the train twice. At present, the Metro administration has made special arrangements. Under this, thermal scanning of passengers will be done.

During the operation of the metro, no passenger will be allowed without a mask. Also, passengers will be sanitized even before entering the metro. It will be necessary to have the Aarogya Setu app in the passengers' mobile.
