Lucknow: In a bid to inculcate a scientific aptitude among the students and showcase their talent, the Amity International School (AIS) on Saturday organised ‘Vasudha’ – a science exhibition – at its Gomtinagar campus – in Lucknow.

At the exclusive event exhibiting the scientific prowess of students, the kids displayed the projects and models made by them during their learning process. The event was primarily aimed at sensitizing the students towards their surroundings.

Students were divided into groups and were allotted different topics. The projects were prepared from environment friendly products. Students prepared working/non-working models as well as project files.

Scientific models prepared by participants had forced the visitors to imagine life without lights, fans, cars, computers and television, or of fetching water from the well and river in exhibition.

Most of the projects were appreciated by the visitors and judges. Even the children of classes Nursery and KG did a commendable job by helping out their parents in their projects.

Other highlights:

  • The exhibition was judged by eminent educationists and experts from the field of science.
  • Vice Principal of Amity International School Mukta Ghoshal said such kind of events must become a regular feature of all the schools to promote learning by doing a fun experience.
