I-T department to keep check over black money in UP election

Lucknow: The Income Tax department has decided to keep a check over the flow of black money in Uttar Pradesh after the model code of conduct was enforced in the state.

The I-T department has deployed as many as 150 officials to the 75 districts of the state.The IT department has said, "These officials would keep an eye at the 403 assembly constituencies. The control room for the purpose would be made at the income tax head quarters in the state."

Directives issued by the IT departments:
