Lucknow: An FIR has been registered against Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati and senior party leaders in connection with the deprecatory remarks made by party workers against the female family members of expelled BJP leader Dayashanker Singh.

The Hazaratganj police have registered the FIR on the complaint of Tetra Devi, mother of Dayashankar Singh, under section 120-B, 153-A, 504, 505 and 509 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) while the crime number of FIR is 458/16.

BSP failed to make use of the chance given by the BJP

The FIR has been registered against Mayawati, Ram Achal Rajbhar, Mewalal, Naseemuddin Siddiqui and others.

Retaliating to the allegations made by Swati Singh, the wife of Dayashanker Singh, blue brigade chief said why Swati did not come to my support when her husband made derogatory remarks against her and the party workers have done to teach Dayashankar a lesson while on the other hand Swati has expressed life threat from the BSP workers.

It may be mentioned that former BJP national vice-president Dayashankar Prasad had objectionable remarks against Mayawati few days back and was then expelled for six years by the party.
