Explosion in Lucknow civil court causes panic; no injuries

Lucknow: Lucknow civil court compound on Wednesday witnessed scenes of panic when a low intensity sutli bomb went off, triggering a massive explosion.

Nobody sustained injury when the blast took place at 4pm. The bomb was hidden inside a washroom on the first floor of the building.

SSP Deepak Kumar, along with bomb disposal squad, reached the spot and launched search operation.

"It appears that somebody has used a cracker and played mischief, we will ask forensic experts to determine the type of explosive used," said Deepak Kumar.
