Deoria to get a girls inter college in memory of slain Indian soldier

Deoria: Uttar Prdaesh Government has announced girls inter college to be constructed on 1.5 acres of government land of Teekampur village in Deoria district with a memorial in the memory of the martyr Prem Sagar who was killed and his body mutilated by Pakistan.

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who went to meet the family of the slain soldier, on Friday last, announced the construction of a school and a memorial. He further said that a park will also be built and beautified on the remaining land.

Assuring that the UP government will always stand by them, the CM also handed over a cheque of Rs. 4 lakh and an FD of Rs. 2 lakh to the wife of the martyr.

Present on the occasion were senior officials of the state government and district administration.
