Lucknow: Congress party’s Uttar Pradesh Chief Ministerial candidate Sheila Dixit on Saturday said her party would continue the fight against corruption with all its might until the state was free from the same.

“Congress will not stop fighting against corruption until UP is free from this menace,” said the 78-year-old party leader while addressing a crowd which had turned up for the road show in the state capital.

  • Sheila received a warm welcome from the party workers and leaders on arrival in Lucknow.
  • The show began from Ashok Marg and concluded at Kapurthala chauraha.
  • Other areas covered included Sikandarabad Chauraha, Nishatganj flyover, Gol Market, Purania Chauraha, Keshavnagar, Madiyaon Chauraha, Sewa Hospital and Bakshi Ka Talab.
