CM Yogi at work: Rs 611 crore transferred to MNREGA workers' account

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath today transferred Rs 611 Crore directly to the bank account of 27.5 Lakh workers of the state, under MNREGA scheme.

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath today transferred Rs 611 Crore directly to the bank account of 27.5 Lakh workers of the state, under MNREGA scheme.

CM Yogi also talked to the MNREGA workers on video conference.

Money transferred under MNREGA:

In fact, many workers were affected by the lock down following a steady increase in corona virus cases. That is why to help them, the Yogi government first transferred the first installment of one thousand rupees to the account of 20 lakh daily wages labors of UP through DBT. After which the labor maintenance scheme started at his residence.

Now in this process, CM Yogi announced the transfer of money to help the MNREGA workers. Apart from this, Chief Minister Yogi is providing free ration to Antyodaya ration card holder, destitute old age pension, PwD, construction workers and daily earning workers.
