Akhilesh Yadav publicly snubs a woman in his native village

Saifai: In a rather shocking incident, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav publicly snubbed an aggrieved lady and even announced not to pay heed to her as she was disturbing his speech.

Akhilesh Yadav, who was the chief guest at ‘International Agricultural Fair’ in Saifai on Monday last, refused to even listen to the woman who was seeking his attention.Subsequently, when Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Manjil Saini stepped forward to help the lady, she was promptly stopped by the CM saying that there was no need to be worried about women like her. What did the CM say:

• Akhilesh Yadav ordered the police to leave the woman and not listen to her.
• “It is not necessary that every individual coming at the event is genuine, some unwanted elements are always witnessed at such occasions” he said from the podium.
• He also said that the lady was following him everywhere with a written note pretending that something wrong had happened to her.

What did the woman say:

• The woman claimed that she came to the CM with a hope of helping her brother who was sent to jail on the false murder charges.
• “We are seven sisters and he is the only brother and the single earning member of the family as our father is suffering from a severe heart disease” she said and added, “we tried to ask for the CM’s help many times but he always ignored us.”
• She also said that some members of the Jatav community were forcing them to give away their lands else their brother would have to face dire consequences spending the rest of his life behind the bars. ”
• According to the lady, those men had threatened to trap her brother in a false case which they did.
