Lucknow: The All India Democratic Women Association (AIDWA) who had taken up the cause of 11-year-old infamous Ashiana gangrape case expressed its dissatisfaction over the quantum of sentence to main accused Gaurav Shukla on Monday.

AIDWA's senior functionary Madhu Garg said that they had demanded either capital punishment or lifer for the accused Gaurav Shukla but he was handed with just ten years of imprisonment with a meagre fine of Rs 20,000.

She said that AIDWA will appeal in the higher court for more sever punishment to the accused.
