Lucknow: In another serious allegation of irregularities in UPSIDC in awarding tenders of around Rs 1100 crore by senior IAS officer Amit Kumar Ghosh, the Uttar Pradesh government has directed Director General (DG), Vigilance to conduct a probe and submit his report in 15 days.

The direction have been issued by the Chief Minister office on a complaint by Arun Mishra in which he alleged that Amit Ghosh, during his posting between August 2, 2016 and April 14, 2017 as Managing Director of UP State Industrial Development Corporation committed serious irregularities in awarding tenders in Trans Ganga City and Saraswati Hitech City.

The 1994-batch Indian Administrative Service officer Ghosh, who was earlier removed from the post to be kept in waiting by UP CM Yogi Adityanath, has been alleged to have flouted all rules and proposed Action Plan for the Financial Year 2016-17.

Confirming the receipt of latter from CM office, the Vigilance department sources said the probe would be completed in the given time frame.
