Alld HC to celebrate its Sesquicentennial anniversary in March
Allahabad: The Allahabad High Court is going to celebrate its Sesquicentennial Celebration in the month of March, 2016 on completion of its 150 years to its establishment.
The information to this effect was given by Justice Tarun Agarwal, the chairman of Sesquicentennial committee in a press conference today held in High Court premises.
- The main function would be held on March 13, 2016 in which the President of India, Chief Justice of India, Union Law minister, Chief Minister of the state and various judges of the Supreme Court and chief justices of the various High Courts will participate.
- Justice Tarun Agarwal further informed that in the programme going to be held on March 13, the President of India will release postal stamp having picture of Allahabad High Court and Lucknow Bench and also a coin of Rs 10 wearing picture of High Court.
- The chief justice of India will inaugurate the renovated museum of the High Court in between March 13 to 17.
- He further informed that on March 17 a blood donation camp will also be organized in which advocates and high court staff will donate their blood.
