Lucknow: The fire of infamous 'Blue Whale Challenge' game has reached the Uttar Pradesh capital Lucknow where a 13-year-old boy allegedly hanged himself to death on Thursday late evening at the Indira Nagar area.

Aditya Vardhan Singh, a class 8 student of Nirmala Convent School, lived with his grandparents and was addicted to the Blue Whale Challenge game which he used to play in his mother's phone.

Aditya was supposed to go to a friend's birthday party but he locked himself in his room and allegedly committed suicide.

Police took the body of the teenager under custody and sent it for the postmortem.
