Namami Ganga- link projects launched in Kanpur   

Kanpur: Fourteen schemes linked to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream project,Namami Ganga, were simultaneously launched here on Thursday, by the city mayor Jagatvir Singh.

All these schemes are aimed at beautification of ‘ghats’ and cremation sites. Several Bhartiya Janata Party workers, among others, were present on the occasion.

The beautification drive is expected to be completed in two years. Installation of sewage treatment plants at many places is a part of project which is likely to be completed in two years. Engineering India Ltd has been associated with the project for the technical jobs.
