Newborn's mutilated body found in Kanpur
Kanpur: A newborn's mutilated body was found on a road in the Dadanagar area of Kanpur district on Saturday.
People were shocked to see stray dogs eating the body and chased them away. They then informed to police. Police spoke to the nearby people but they were of little help.
According to Mr. Vinay kumar Jha, the coordinator of Childline, sex determination was the main reason for deaths of newly-born and foetuses. "People don't like to give birth to a girl child," he said.
