Minor gang raped for two days by village head in Kanpur

Kanpur: In yet another incident of gang rape, a minor was gang raped by Gram Pradhan and his two cohorts in Sehbas village in Bilkhaur police station of Kanpur district in Uttar Pradesh.

According to the police, the 14-year-old girl was abducted by few people on car on July 28 last while she was returning home from some place. The girl in her statement said that she was intoxicated by village head Kallu Mishra and his two close aide and they gang raped for two days.

• She was found lying unconscious in the field on the outskirts of village on July 30 on the outskirts of village.
• The girl is admitted to a private hospital in Kanpur.
• Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Manish Singh said than a case in this regard has been registered and the investigation was underway.
• A manhunt has also been launched to nab the culprits, he added.
