Green Park stadium of Kanpur most likely to host IPL matches

Kanpur: The Green Park stadium of Kanpur may get to host the matches of ongoing Indian Premier League after Bombay High Court took Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) to the notice over the issue of drought in Maharashtra.

The court in its observation said that water cannot be wasted for preparation of the ground thus the possibilities of Kanpur getting to host the matches are high.

It has almost been decided that the Green Park will host two matches.

IPL chairman Rajiv Shukla may make an official announcement in this regard in a day or two.
