Truck rams into tractor; five killed, over 10 injured

The injured were immediately taken to the nearby hospital where doctors said that few of them are in critical condition.

Jhansi: At least five people were killed and over 11 were sustained critical injuries after truck rammed into the tractor.

The tractor was carrying pilgrims in Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh.

The injured were immediately taken to the nearby hospital where doctors said that few of them are in critical condition.

The accident took place near Boodha village on the highway. All the victims were from Bhajanpura village.

The police said that the pilgrims were on the way to a fair in Ratangarh, which draws people from across the region.

Police said that they are investigating the matter and cause of the accident.
