Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow celebrated its 26th Foundation Day. The event was presided over by the Chief Guest Mr. Gurucharan Das (Celebrated Author & Management Guru Ex. CEO Procter & Gamble India) and Guest of Honor Er. Kumar Keshav (Managing Director, Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.).

On this auspicious day institute honored its alumnus, mothers of students and covid warriors for showing enormous courage during the cumbersome times of covid. It also felicitated its valuable recruiters for offering placement opportunities and organizations for availing services in training/management development programs.

The event witnessed the Lightning of the Lamp by Dr. Kavita Pathak (Director, Jaipuria Lucknow) and Prof. R.K Ojha (Associate Dean, Student Academics), Prof. Ankit Mehrotra (Dean Research), Prof. Rashmi Chaudhary (Associate Dean, Student Affairs) in the presence of the esteemed guests and the recital of Saraswati Vandana by the Choir, which was followed by Dr. Pathak honoring the Guests with the Green Certificates.

Dr. Kavita Pathak, says that Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow is an institute which has bridged the gap of the lack of management learning. She considers this day as a solemn occasion where the contributors and the stakeholders for their tremendous assistance are to be thanked for. She also mentioned about the various collaborations the institute is linked with, that is, UPMRC, IIA, Gyan etc.

Dr. Gurucharan Das said that a management guru is someone who is good in understanding. He talked about the word Humanity which is characterized by doing the job and not getting obsessed by the credit. Integrity which means making a living. Dr Das, shared with the audience his inspiring stories which left the audience in amaze. His views like 'making money is to giving money', 'making a life and not just making a living' were thought provoking

With heavy heart, institute remembered its 6 alumni that they lost in last one year, which were – Ms. Niharika Gupta, PGDM Batch 2014-16, Mr. Pankaj Sharma, PGDBA Batch 2004-06, Mr. Vivek Agarwal, Part Time PGDBA, Batch 1996-99, Mr. Nitesh Srivastava, PGDM Batch 2009-11, Ms. Sheetal Sharma, PGDM Batch, 2009-11, Mr. Amit Agarwal, Part Time, PGDBA, Batch 2001-03

Also, the institute felicitated the meritorious students of batch 2020-2022 for their exquisite Academic Performance with a cash prize of 5000/- The students were- Aanshi Mittal, Akshay Gattani, Shreya Soni, Rohan Arora, Avneet Kaur Khurana, Ayushi Agarwal, Shubhra Goyal, Samarth Agarwal, Yashaswee Srivastava, Vyom Agarwal, Anind Dixit, Manaswee Srivastava, Gaurav Pandey (Retail Management), Muskan Middha (Retail Management) and Himanshu Dhawan (Retail Management).

The institute also recognized and rewarded the staff members for their never-ending support towards the institute which were – Mr. Prabhat Asthana, Mr. Deep Prakash, Ms. Meera, Ms. Sadhana and Mr. Rinku


Er. Kumar Keshav said that great educational institutions enable us to plan field of our choices and ultimately become future leaders because of the institute's contribution. He emphasized to live life with utmost integrity and be happy with internal patience. He showed his gratitude towards LKO metro which has made the city much more liveable and workable. He talked about the two new projects which is going to get implemented related to Metros and Infrastructure.


The conference was a successful discussion of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow serving the community in the covid times.
