Lucknow: The Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court is going to start hearing of the Hathras scandal in a short time. The hearing in Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court will begin at 2.30 pm. The victim's family has reached the court amid tight security throughout the High Court premises. Apart from this, summoned officers have also reached the court.

During the hearing, five people from the victim's family, UP's Additional Chief Secretary (Home Department) Avnish Awasthi, DGP HC Awasthi and other officials including the local administration, DM, SP and lawyers associated with the case were present inside the court.

The victim's family presented their case in front of the two-judge bench. During this time, many officers were also present in the court on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh government.

Inside the court, the High Court asked the victim's family whether the fundamental rights were violated? Was cremation reported or not?

The victim's family was supposed to come to Lucknow last night, but the family refused to travel at night. After this, the victim's family left Hathras for Lucknow in the early hours of this morning under heavy security.

Advocate Vinod Shahi from UP government side:

Advocate Seema Kushwaha will present her side on behalf of the victim in this case. It is the same Seema Kushwaha who has earlier delivered justice to the victims in many such cases. It was Seema who pleaded for the victim in Delhi's Nirbhaya case.
